i chose the importance of understanding history.. I chose this because it is very important to understand what happened in history so you are aware of what is going on, so you will not let history repeat itself.
I chose conformity vs individuality. The book teaches us that conformity leads to being cold and unloving and unlovable. Mildred is a prime example of this.
I choose the importance of thinking independently. There are very many reasons why thinking independently is important. For one, it gives knowledge. It gives people emotions. Thinking independently helps tremendously when it comes to problem solving. If people do not think independently they will be like Mildred and most of the society in Fahrenheit 451. They do not have any emotions, all they do is destroy things, and watch their parlor walls. Think independently for your own good.
