"They left all the weak ones here.."
Consider the scene in Crooks' room. How and what does the conversation of the "misfits" in the chapter reveal about society? In what ways does each character dominate/control? (This post closes on Friday, April 11, 2014 at midnight.)
In the scene in Crooks' room Crooks is higher up then Lennie. So he treats Lennie like he is better than Lennie. This reveals that in society that everybody is higher up than somebody and are going to act like they are better than that somebody. Lennie dominates strength, George dominates being protective of Lennie, Slim dominates being God-like, Curley dominates being a fighter, and Crooks dominates intelligence.
