Prove it!
Now that you have completed 5 days of research, what will you prove/justify/defend in your paper? Why have you selected this as your thesis? (The deadline to post a response to this question is midnight, Monday, November 7, 2011.)
After visiting many sights on how the Apollo 13 accident happened, I am going to try to prove that it could have been preventable. I have found a lot of evidence on the matter to prove that it could have easily avoided and successful.
After researching the Chernobyl Nuclear Plant accident, I plan to prove that this disaster can not happen again. Faulty Soviet designs and lack of safety features caused this environmental disaster.
After spending the past week in the library, I have researched many of ways the "Average Woman" in World War II participated in the war effort. My reasoning behind my research is to prove that women played a part in helping our country along with our men to aid the allies and defeat our enemies during World War II.
I am writing about birth control. I am going to prove that it is a good thing and helps the population. I chose this because most of the info I have is about the positive effects of birth control.
I am writing about Natural Disasters. I am going to prove that they are increasing. I chose to do the increasing of natural disasters because they affect everyone around the world.
Now that I have learned many facts and failures about the Bay of Pigs Invasion, I am proving that it could have been prevented with proper training and planning. I selected this as my thesis to prove that with time and preparation anything can be stopped.
I have decided to write about how certain risks can led to postpartum depression. I chose this because I believe it is interesting to learn why certain poeple are more at risk than others.
I have decided to write about mythology and how it influenced history and different countries. I picked this because I have always liked mythology and I've always wanted to learn more about it.
Now that I have learned about illegal immigration, I would like to prove that illegal immigrants, despite commonly believed, actually benefit our economy substantially. I would like to prove this because it is widely accepted that illegal immigrants come to the United States and merely live off of the system.
I am proving the causes of school shootings. I chose this topic because the number of school shootings has risen since the late 1990's and early 2000's, and I am interested in the cause of them.
After researching Multiple Sclerosis, I plan to prove that there isn't a specific treatment or drug that actually work better than any other drug and also that Multiple Sclerosis cannot be cured, but it can be slowed.
