I am researching euthanasia and I learned that there are two different types. Active euthanasia is if a doctor injected lethal chemicals into the patient. Passive euthanasia would simply be if the doctor turned off the patient's life support. I think it is an extremely interesting topic!

I found out that the Apollo 13 incident was caused by an explosion of a liquid oxygen tank on board. It was the main cause of many other short outs and failures in the ship.

While studying the Rwandan Genocide,I discovered that 250,000 women were raped in this tragic crime against humanity. The majority of these women were between the ages of 15-25. This number however is somewhat inaccurate because all of the rapes of girls younger than 15 weren't accounted for because of the lack of credibility.

While researching eating disorders, I learned that anorexia and bulimia may actually be caused by chemicals in the brain. If such chemicals are too excessive, the brain will tell the body to eat less, but if the brain lacks these chemicals, it causes the person to be depressed, which can also cause anorexia or bulimia.

I am researching AIDS prevention. I learned that the infant survival rate on the content of Africa had been rising successfully for decades until the outbreak of AIDs. Unfortunately, since the eighties that success has been reversed, and over four hundred thousand children die of AIDs in Africa a year. :(

While researching breast cancer, I found out not only does never bearing children increase one's risk, but also giving birth to your first child over the age of 30 does too.
